Printed photos, slides and negatives don't last forever — and they're often the hardest part of a collection to actually use. I professionally scan photos, 35mm slides and negatives and convert them into organized, high-quality digital files your family can find, protect, enjoy and share for generations.
The result isn't just digital files — it's the relief of knowing decades of printed memories are finally preserved, easy to find, and safe from damage or loss.

Your family photos aren't just scanned and handed back as a folder of random files. I can help organize the collection before scanning, preserve the information that goes with your photos, and create digital files that are easier to find, protect, enjoy and share.
Printed Photos
Loose prints can be organized chronologically by year or decade and scanned as high-quality digital files.
Slides & Negatives
Slides and negatives can be digitized so memories that have been difficult to view for years become accessible again.
Albums, Documents & Oversized Items
Album pages, letters, documents and larger items can be digitized when they're an important part of your family's story.
Organized Digital Files
Whenever possible, dates and identifying information are preserved so your scans become an organized collection—not simply thousands of numbered image files.
A Plan for Protecting Everything
I can also help you decide where your newly digitized collection should live and how it should be backed up, including a reliable 3-2-1 backup strategy.
You get your originals back along with a digital collection your family can actually find, enjoy and share.
Yes. Your original photos, slides, negatives and other materials are returned to you after digitizing. If you'd like, I can also help organize printed photos into labeled archival boxes so the physical collection is easier to preserve and enjoy.
No. My goal is to create an organized digital collection, not simply thousands of scans. When possible, I preserve useful dates and identifying information and organize the digital files to reflect the structure and story of your original collection.
Yes. Scanned photos can be prepared and added to Apple Photos so they become part of the same searchable library as your newer digital photos. We can also discuss other storage options depending on how you want to use and share your collection.
Photo scanning costs depend on the type, quantity and condition of your photographs.
Standard ready to scan printed photos up to 8×10 generally cost $0.60–$1.00 per photo, and 35mm ready to scan slide scanning is typically $1.50/$1.75 per slide.
Larger or fragile photographs, negatives, organizing, labeling and additional digital photo services may involve separate charges depending on the project.
I'll review your collection, discuss what you'd like to accomplish and provide an estimate before beginning.
My goal is to give you more than digital copies. You'll have an organized collection that's easier to find, protect, enjoy and share with your family.
Digitizing is only part of protecting your memories. I can help you create a practical 3-2-1 backup plan so your finished digital collection isn't dependent on one computer, hard drive or cloud service.
Have digital photos scattered across computers, phones, external drives or cloud accounts? I can help bring everything together, including your newly scanned photographs, into one organized collection that's easier to find, protect, enjoy and share.
